Project Overview

GS Foam Concrete successfully completed a technically complex and environmentally responsible redundant gas pipeline decommissioning and annulus infill project. The scope included full internal infill of the pipeline as well as the surrounding annulus, using a P1200 lightweight foam concrete designed for long-term stability and carbon reduction.
Our delivery formed part of a collaborative effort with the site contractor, who had responsibility for preparing and managing the excavation works, installing sacrificial pipes, and positioning vent and fill lines. GS Foam Concrete were engaged to design, supply and place foam concrete to fill the voids efficiently and safely.
